Tungsten Trioxide Monohydrate: WO3•H2O (WO2(OH)2). It is a monomeric, gaseous compound which forms above 600℃ by reaction of water vapor and tungsten oxides. It is responsible for the Chemical Vapor Transport (CVT) of tungsten during the reduction process and hence for the grain size of the finally formed tungsten powder. Another important aspect of the CVT of tungsten is the overgrowth of dopant compounds by tungsten during the powder production of non-sag tungsten.
